I am a former teacher, and besides creating my personal writing pieces, I also work as a freelance editor. That is how I happily met Atousa, the founder of Caspica Art House.
In addition to writing and editing, I also enjoy spending time with my family, along with reading, gardening, sightseeing, collecting vintage items, and cooking vegan meals.

As an artist, I love taking inspiration from the real world and referencing classical illustrators like Rackham and Dulac to bring a rich fluid feel to my artwork. Working with Caspica Art house on Caspian and the Enchanted Lake has been a true pleasure in getting to learn about and understand the Persian/Russian cultures that we are exploring in the book. Adding those native styles to the artwork has helped me to produce artwork that I am truly proud of.

I had the privilege of designing the book cover for one of the very interesting (and as yet unannounced) books which I believe will be released soon by Caspica Art house.
I have to say, as a man it was very challenging for me to think and design what was asked of me from a woman's prospective. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the challenge and learned from this project very much.

Atousa (the founder of Caspica Art House) and I share a friendship which has spanned across almost three decades. When I first met this passionate, intelligent and courageous young woman I instantly knew we would get along. Although we came from very different disciplines we shared the same dream; to make a difference to the world we live in. I have spent the past 20 years in the struggle to end male violence against women and girls and am a firm believer that if we are ever to make a change in this arena we must start early by teaching children and young people about healthy relationships. I also share Atousa's passion about educating children from a young age about issues which matter because what we teach our children today will be the world in which we live in tomorrow.
